At MAC K9 — Make Amazing Companions — we believe every dog has the potential to be a well-mannered, confident companion. Based out of San Jose, CA, we specialize in building real-world obedience, trust, and communication between you and your dog.
Whether you're starting with a brand-new puppy, working through behavioral challenges, or diving into protection & sport work, our programs are tailored to your dog's unique needs and your goals as an owner.

What We Offer

Safe, structured boarding in a professional training environment. Your dog stays comfortable and continues learning while you're away.
Fun, social training sessions where dogs learn alongside each other. Great for socialization and foundational obedience skills.
Specialized Training
Take your dog's training to the next level with our structured protection and sport program. Each session includes 2–3 rounds of focused bite work and obedience under drive.
On occasion, we host group bite-work events by invitation only. Interested? Email us to ask about the next date.
Advanced Program
For dogs dealing with aggression, reactivity, fear, or other serious behavioral issues. This is typically a 3+ month process requiring commitment and consistency.
Work directly with the trainer over the course of 3+ months. Regular private sessions focused on reshaping your dog's responses and building confidence.
Immersive program where your dog stays with us for intensive daily training. Fastest results for serious behavioral challenges.
